Jackalberry Farm Lodge is located in sub-tropical Hazyview with its all year round holiday climate of hot summers with cooling rains and sunny, warm winter days.
It is an ideal base from which to tour and explore the world famous Kruger National Park and the many beautiful wonders of the Lowveld and Escarpment.

The lodge is perfect for formal or informal gatherings (wedding receptions, office parties, Christmas parties, etc).
The outdoors, with its access to the river, a beautiful, tropical garden opens several additional opportunities.
The gardens in the front of the main house make the perfect location for a wedding, as the sand of the riverbed for those that prefer a different wedding.
With the capability for a catered reception inside, Jackalberry Farm Lodge will make the event smooth and easy for the guests. Immediate family or selected members of the wedding party are able to stay at the lodge, while other party members are referred to neighbouring Inns.

Jackalberry Farm Lodge Accommodation

Cottage:
The Cottage accommodates 5 guests in 1 bedroom with a double bed and 1 other bedroom with 3 single beds and there is a bathroom with shower / toilet.
The rooms are serviced daily and are equipped with air conditioning, safes, fans, heaters whilst the bathroom has a hot water dedicated geyser and shaver point and shower.

There is a fully equipped kitchen is fitted with a fridge, microwave, hot plate and oven. The living and dining room area have air conditioning / heater, ceiling fans, DStv, a veranda and braai facilities on the terrace.
The cottage is built amongst natural rocks and indigenous trees, like in a little forest. The rooms have private entrances, patios and private garden where smoking is prohibited.


African Rondavel Style Bungalows (Bungalows 1, 2, 3)
There are 3 free standing units of this type and each 1 accommodates 2 guests in queen size beds and the bathrooms are with a toilet and shower.
There is a sitting area, mini bar, tea / coffee facilities, air conditioning, DSTV, mosquito screens in the windows, veranda, fridge, braai facilities, carport.

The bungalows are all situated directly on the banks of the Sabie River and have private entrance, balconies and are serviced daily.
The en-suite bathroom has a dedicated geyser, shaver point, shower, soaps, toiletries and the floor is tiled. Other features include fans, safes, heaters, ceiling fans, cotton linen, hairdryers and exclusive DStv.

Bungalow 4 (sleeps 3)
The bedroom is with a queen size bed and 3/4 bed and the bathroom is with a shower / toilet. There is a sitting area, mini bar, tea / coffee facilities, air conditioning, DSTV, mosquito screens in the windows, veranda, fridge, braai facilities, carport.
The bungalow is situated directly on the banks of the Sabie River and from the veranda one has its own special view over the river and the valley.

The room has a private entrance, balcony. is serviced daily and the en-suite bathroom is fitted with a dedicated geyser, shaver point, shower, soaps, toiletries and the floors are tiled.
Other features include a fan, safe, ceiling fan, heater, cotton linen, hair dryer, exclusive DStv, fresh fruit and fresh flowers.

How To Get To Jackelberry Farm Lodge

From Nelspruit
At Nelspruit turn left onto R40 to White River (in White River the R40 turns left, please watch out for the signs) and Hazyview.
In Hazyview drive direction north R40 (Phalaborwa), turn left just before the Sabie river bridge (1km north of Hazyview) and follow the small farmers gravel road for 2.5 km to reach Jackal-berry Farm & Lodge in Hazyview.
From Sabie
If you rather prefer a more scenic route, leave the N4 at Belfast, take R540 via Dullstroom to Lydenburg. There take R37 over the Long Tom Pass to Sabie and then R536 to Hazyview.
Turn left on R40 direction north (Phalaborwa) and you see our signpost after 100 meters.
