Whether you’re a nature lover or outdoor enthusiast, Valley of the Rainbow Mountain Fly Fishing Estate and Nature Reserve is an incredible place to be all year’ round.
Surrounded by mountains, indigenous forests and rivers and with a mild climate and malaria free this is a venue to experience peace and tranquility away from city life.

The venue is near the towns of Dullstroom and Belfast, and is well situated on the premier tourist routes form Johannesburg and Pretoria to the tourist attractions on the eastern escarpment and lowveld regions of Mpumalanga, South Africa.

The resort is an exclusive retreat that combines the extraordinary beauty of an awe-inspiring natural landscape with the convenience and hospitality of a luxury resort.
Sprawling over almost 1000 hectares mountains and cradled in a valley surrounded by mountains the venue is a sanctuary of indigenous forests, lakes, rivers and waterfalls.

Visitors will experience the peace and tranquillity of the venue, prolific bird life including 5 kingfisher species, the fish eagle and endangered blue crane, variety of game including buck, vevet monkey, bush pig, cerval cat and the clawless otter.
Discover a peaceful valley between mountains at the edge of the escarpment of the misty Drakensberg Mountains. Surrounded by indigenous forests and lakes lies Valley of the Rainbow. The Estate is in a Malaria-Bilharzia free area with a mild climate and is conveniently located as an overnight stop to the Kruger National Park and the lowveld region.

The Manor House
Each of our 5 luxury Suites consist of a double bedroom with a comfortable lounge area and a well appointed en-suite bathroom. Spectacular views of landscaped gardens, forests, mountains and lakes can be enjoyed.

Country House
The Country House is decorated in a classic country style and offers five luxurious double bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms and access to the veranda.
From the veranda guests have a magnificent view over the lakes in the valley with the mountain and indigenous forests complementing the view. With an open plan lounge, dining room and TV room the Country House is ideally suited for families, friends and corporate groups.


Tented Chalets
For the outdoor minded, nature can be experienced in luxury serviced Tent Chalet's Each Tent Chalet is situated in an indigenous forest overlooking one of the lakes in the valley.
The Chalet's are permanently fixed on wooden decks and have en-suite bathrooms, electricity and a front seating deck. The Chalet's are hidden between indigenous trees for complete privacy.

Dining
The Restaurant offers a superb menu, South African cuisine with international International presentation and standards. An excellent South African Vintage wine list compliments the food beautifully.

children policy
Children over the age of 12 are welcome at the Manor House, and children of all ages are welcome at the Country House and the Tented Chalets.

Guests have access to a spacious lounge with open fireplace for winter, bar and dining room with fireplace, library and TV room.
The deck overlooks a river running through the valley, as setting designed for relaxed sundowners. We regret we do not accept children under the age of 12 in the Manor House.
Conference facilities accommodates 15 - 40 delegates. Companies and groups will find Valley of the Rainbow the perfect venue for strategic planning sessions, small conferences, hosting of clients and team building.

Route Description from Johannesburg / Pretoria
Take the N4 towards NELSPRUIT
Pass all the Witbank turnoffs and just after the Tollgate take the 2nd turnoff
FONTEIN RD LEFT into MIDDELBURG Central
Carry on until T Junction (to the left in front is a beautiful white church) TURN RIGHT
Drive ±900m, sign STOFFBERG/GROBLERSDAL (just after Harry’s Tyres) TURN LEFT
Carry on 64km (you’ll pass Blinkwater Mills and Silos on your right )
TURN RIGHT at sign ROOSSENEKAL (ENGEN on right)
Carry on ± 4½km over the hill - sign - DULLSTROOM - TURN RIGHT (police station on right)
Gravel Road for 12km - ± 10km V keep left
About 2km from here is sign Valley of the Rainbow TURN RIGHT
This is a small road for about 2km towards Parking Area at Manor House on your LEFT
