Aloe Cottage offers luxury self-catering holiday accommodation in Darling, near to Cape Town, South Africa. We are pet-friendly.
The holiday home has been beautifully decorated with top quality linen, furniture and artwork and enjoys possibly the best views in Darling - over rolling hills and farmlands to the distant mountains.
There are beautiful walks and trails nearby. Two mountain bikes are included for your pleasure to explore the quaint village of Darling.
Enjoy your days unwinding on the sheltered verandah to the soundtrack of the local birds, have a braai (wood is provided), watch a show with Tannie Evita Bezuidenhout, see the weaver birds build their nests right outside the window, curl up with a book in the hammock, or just relax on the deep, comfy couches in front of the fireplace with some fine Darling wine.

Self-catering Cottage : Three en-suite bedrooms provide luxurious accommodation for up to 6 guests. Downstairs comprises two bedrooms (one with a queen-sized bed, one with twin beds) both luxuriously en-suite, with an open plan kitchen, dining and living area with fireplace, leading via French doors to a large, sheltered verandah with built-in braai. Stairs from the dining area lead to the spacious loft with another sitting area.
The loft has a queen-sized bed and free-standing Victorian bath, with separate loo and basin. The loft has a small balcony with panoramic views and guests can even star-gaze from bed!
Aloe Cottage is fully equipped with a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, gas stove, electric oven, microwave and a chef's array of pots, pans and appliances.
The cottage includes a fireplace, heater, fans, books, games, a small fenced indigenous garden, and lots more for your relaxation. It also includes 2 televisions, DVD players, selection of DVD discs, and a CD player, just in case... Either bring your own DStv satellite smartcard or use ours for a nominal fee.
