Makouvlei Guest Farm Accommodation
We offer luxury double and single rooms in a rustic setting, situated
close to a natural hot water spring. This is a place to unwind, relax,
and de-stress.
Double En-suite Room : Large double en-suite rooms with
shower and/or bath. There are only two rooms per unit, making them very
private. Guests also have use of the large public lounge and reception
area, as well as the restaurant.
Honeymoon Suite : This room has two queen-size beds and
a full en-suite bathroom with an unusual double bath. It includes self
catering.

Directions to Makouvlei Guest Farm
From Cape Town, take the N1 and exit onto the R62. Pass through the village
of Barrydale, travel for approximately 15 km, until you see a sign on
the right-hand side for Makouvlei. Turn right onto the gravel road and
drive for almost 2 km. Makouvlei Guest Farm will be on the left.
From Ladysmith, on the R62 heading towards Barrydale, you will see a
sign on the right-hand side for Makouvlei. Turn right onto the gravel
road and drive for almost 2 km. Makouvlei Guest Farm will be on the left.
