Hlumu Lodge, a mere 3 hour drive from Gauteng, is the ideal destination for a quiet, relaxing, and naturally beautiful getaway. Peace and tranquility are yours, just 6km from Badplaas, at the foot of the Hlumuhlumu Mountains. eastern Mpumalanga.

Hlumu Lodge has been awarded 3 Stars by the South African Tourism Grading Council and is dedicated to an authentic country experience with 16 individually designed stylish log cabins, all with en-suite bathrooms and private verandahs overlooking the spectacular Hlumuhlumu Mountains.

Each cabin is equipped with linen, towels, tea / coffee making facilities, ceiling fans, heaters and is serviced daily. Fully equipped self-catering cabins are also available.
Wholesome breakfasts and/or two-course traditional South African dinners are served in the dining room or on the deck. Packed luncheons are available on request. An excellent selection of South African wines is also available.

The Lodge boasts an adult and kiddies swimming pool. The Pub houses a pool table, dart board, cozy fire place and indoor braai. Golfers enjoy spectacular vistas of the Badplaas valley from the Driving Range.
Scenic walks for the nature lover throughout the 50 hectare property are available. For our younger guests there is a Jungle gym with trampoline for their enjoyment.

We pride ourselves in tailor-made conference packages and understand that no two conferences are the same. Our Conference Centre can host 50 guests "Cinema Style" Or 30 guests "U-shaped" style.
