Ullapool, an appealing port and resort in Wester Ross, the fishing port of Ullapool in Wester Ross comes alive in summer when it receives a large influx of holidaymakers. Ullapool
This lovely village of Ullapool, on the coast of one of the most beautiful
parts of the Scottish Highlands, is a perfect base for a holiday. Here
you will find one of the last unspoiled environments in Europe, and a
tranquility that will soothe you. It's a perfect place for walkers and
climbers and if you feel less energetic driving is a pleasure here, with
good roads, spectacular scenery, and minimal traffic. So come and stay
for a while, but be warned! You probably won't want to leave.
The village is well equipped with everything you need for a holiday, and for years artists have been attracted here: painters, craftsmen in jewellery, pottery and leather all live and work here which makes for some interesting shopping!

DIRECTIONS
Ullapool is only 55 miles north west of Inverness and it's a beautiful
drive over the Black Isle, past Loch Garve, through the mountains of Wester
Ross, and past Corrieshalloch Gorge (with its wonderful waterfall) to
the coast, where this lovely and historic fishing village nestles by the
shore of Loch Broom.
As you arrive at the village you'll see us on the left hand side of the road. We're very easy to find - just look out for the Dromnan Guest House sign.
If you're arriving from the North, follow the sign for Inverness as though you were heading south out of the village, and before you do that you'll find us on the right hand side of the road.
