Built in the 1920s, Orchardhill is a beautiful house occupying a prominent position overlooking Stonehaven's spectacular bay, cliffs and the Black Hill where the war memorial dominates the skyline.

Directions

Getting there from the Information Centre
Turn left out of TIC onto Allardice Street .
Carry on straight ahead until you come to the traffic lights at the Market Square.
Turn right at the lights onto Market Square (B957)which will then become Evan Street.
Go straight up Evan Street.
You will see a high wall with a white fence on top of it on the righthand side of road.
Orchardhill is the white house behind this.
The driveway is on right.
Very tight so best to park on road.

Getting There by Car
Follow A90 to Stonehaven.
From the South take first exit to Stonehaven (A957).
At the traffic lights turn left onto Market Square which will then become Evan Street.
Go straight up Evan Street.
You will see a high wall with a white fence on top of it on the right hand side of the road .
Orchardhill is the old white house behind this.
The driveway is on the right but best to park on the street as very tight corner up to the house.
From the North follow A90 to Stonehaven.
Take the first exit to Stonehaven and carry on straight until you come to the traffic lights at the Market Square.
Turn right onto the Market Square and follow directions as from South.

Getting There by Railway
Leave Stonehaven Railway Station by the main entrance and follow signs for Town Centre.
Continue straight down Arduthie Road and turn right onto Queens Road.
At the end of Queens Road turn left towards the sea onto Evan Street.
Orchardhill is up the first driveway on the left.
Aprox 7mins walk.

Getting there by Aeroplane
From Aberdeen Airport follow signs for A90 South (Dundee/Perth) Take first exit for Stonehaven and carry on until you come to traffic lights at Market Square.
Carry on as per other directions.
The journey time between airport and Stonehaven is aprox 40mins.
You can also take the airport bus to either Dyce or Aberdeen Railway Station and then catch a train.

Getting There by Ferry
From Ferry Port follow signs South for A90 Dundee and Perth.
Take the first exit for Stonehaven aprox 15miles from Aberdeen.
Carry on straight into the town until you come to the traffic lights at the Market Square.
Turn right at the lights.
Market Square then becomes Evan Street.
Carry on straight up the hill and you will see a high wall with a white fence on top of it and behind this is Orchardhill.
The driveway is on the right but best to leave the car on the street as has a tight corner up to the house.
