Come and enjoy our home and garden, overnight or stay and relax for a few days.
You will find a warm welcome and comfortable stay when you visit our Victorian sandstone villa.
Our quiet and spacious rooms are South-facing, overlooking the beautiful garden to the rear of the house.

Barnsdale House Accommodation

Both bedrooms are quiet and spacious family rooms, facing south, overlooking the garden.
There is one double bed and one single in each, so the rooms can be used as a double, twin or triple.
They both have modern ensuite shower rooms.
We also have an adjacent standard double room available, for the use of larger families.
This has a separate private bathroom.
All rooms have colour televisions, tea and coffee-making facilities.
A travel cot and high-chair can be provided at no extra cost, please request in advance.

Full cooked or continental breakfast plus a selection of delicious fresh fruit dishes.
Colour television and tea and coffee-making facilities in both rooms.
Both rooms have modern ensuite shower rooms.
Relax and enjoy our beautiful mature garden.

Directions
Barnsdale House is conveniently situated between the motorway and the city centre.
The major airports are 45 minutes away by motorway.
We are walking distance (20 mins, ¾ miles) from the city centre with plenty of off-road parking and close to restaurants, pubs and a launderette.

Getting there from the Information Centre
From Dumbarton Road Tourist Information Centre, turn right to traffic lights and straight ahead for three quarter mile till roundabout.
Take the right turn on to A872 (Glasgow Road). After 200 metres turn right into Barnsdale Road.
We are on left, first house after newsagent and launderette.

Getting There by Railway
From Stirling Railway Station, turn left past bus station to roundabout.
Take A9 South for 1 mile.
Straight ahead at next roundabout on to A872.
Barnsdale Road is next turn on the right immediately after roundabout.
We are first house on left after newsagent and launderette.

Getting there by Aeroplane
From Edinburgh Airport follow M9 to Stirling from Glasgow Airport, follow M8/M80 to Stirling, exit at junction 9 (Granada Services).
Follow A872 towards town centre, you will pass Bannockburn Heritage Centre on your left, then Hollybank Restaurant.
Barnsdale Road is second left after Hollybank (before roundabout).
We are first house on left after newsagent and launderette.
