Spean Bridge hotel Springburn farmhouse is a 4 Star STB graded large modern farmhouse, set in the middle of a 50 acre farm. Just off the near by A82 from Fort William to Inverness. Ideal for walkers doing the Great Glen Walk.

We are also one mile from the world famous Commando Monument and the nearest village is Spean Bridge, just two miles away.

Springburn's wonderful setting with mountains all round, including Ben Nevis and Aonach Mor on one side and the impressive Grey Corries range on the other.

The stunning views plus the large open garden make for the perfect place for relaxing after a days site seeing and hill walking. Or you can watch the famous Springburn Highland Cattle being combed and fed.

Springburn Accommodation

Before starting your day, Springburn's breakfast is available from (7:00am on request) or normally from 8:00am. It includes, juices, fresh melon, grapefruit segments, yogurts, cereals or traditional porridge, all with traditional cooked breakfast to follow. This includes either poached, fried or scrambled eggs, tea or filter coffee with fresh toast.

The surrounding area has plenty of places to eat out at night, which cater for all tastes and price ranges. Plus the main town of Fort William is a mere 12 miles away.

Activities
Springburn's location is at the crossroads of the highlands. You can cover all of the areas of Scotland (Skye, Inverness, Oban, Aviemore) all in an easy days drive.

Hill walking and mountain biking are happily catered for with drying and garage facilities available, making the farm the ideal stop for munroe bagging or doing the numerous mountain bike trials in the area.

Unfortunately you can not rely on the weather in the Highlands, but you can guarantee a warm and friendly welcome from Ian, Christina and the young family, who will do their best to make your holiday one to remember for all the right reasons.

DIRECTIONS
Getting there from the Information Centre:

From Fort William Tourist Information Centre take A82 going north to Spean Bridge. Go through village, over bridge, bear left and up hill until 1 mile past Commando Memorial. Property on the right.

Getting There by Railway:
1.5 miles from Spean Bridge Station.
