Spean Bridge hotelSet in its own grounds, Coinachan Guest House is in a perfect location just off A82 between Fort William and Inverness on the Gairlochy road (B8004).

This 18th century house, with its old byre, boasts spectacular views in every direction - the Grey Corries, Aonach Mor, Ben Nevis, Glen Spean and the Great Glen.

Take a short walk to the Commando Memorial or down the hill to Spean Bridge village, or head down to the Caledonian Canal and Great Glen Way.

Coinachan overlooks the Grey Corries, the Commando Memorial and Nevis Range. Fall asleep in our luxurious beds (all B&B accommodation is en-suite) and wake up to a wonderful breakfast just a bit out of the ordinary - fresh baked waffles, smoked salmon, powerhouse eggs, or grilled plate - made with the best local (and whenever possible organic) ingredients.

With advanced notice we are happy to cater evening meals and hearty packed lunches.

We have 3 letting rooms; the Grey Corries Twin room, With Egyptian cotton towels, sateen bed linens, warm duvets, and extra alpaca and cashmere blankets. The Aonach Mor Double room also equipped with Egyptian cotton towels, sateen bed linens, warm duvets, and extra alpaca and cashmere blankets. This room has superb views of the Grey Corries and the Commando Memorial.

The Lochy Munros Double/Family room commands views to the munros beyond Loch Lochy and the Great Glen. Also equipped with Egyptian cotton towels, sateen bed linens, warm duvets, and extra alpaca and cashmere blankets.

Our Guest Lounge is perfect for relaxing after a hard day on the hills.

Coinachan Guest House is the home base for Scottish Textile Tours and Trails. Coinachan is perfect for those who enjoy:

Getting there from the Information Centre:

From Spean Bridge Tourist Information drive north on A82 for 1 mile, left at Commando Memorial, 100 metres on right.

From Fort William tourist Information Centre, drive north on A82 11 miles, left at Commando Memorial.

Getting There by Railway:
At Spean Bridge station, please phone on arrival for pick up.

Getting there by Aeroplane:
From Inverness airport 64 miles south on A82, turn right at Commando Memorial. From Glasgow airport 111miles, follow A82 north to 1 mile north of Spean Bridge, turn left at Commando Memorial. From Edinburgh airport 134 miles, M90/A9 to Dalwhinnie on A86, turn right in Spean Bridge on to A82 north.
