Prestwick hotelFernbank Guest House is entered through the RIGHT of the buildings 2 red, front doors, accessed either from the Main Street or from the on-site car park around the garden.
A friendly Scottish welcome awaits you in our delightful, red sandstone Edwardian villa.

Please note that we are only able to accept arrivals outside of our normal check-in times (1600 -2200) by prior arrangement.
We are well situated for all the attractions nearby and makes an excellent base to explore Ayrshire.
Prestwick is located on the West Coast of Scotland and is a neighbour to Ayr and Troon.

At Fernbank we have a range of rooms for you, including single, double (1 large bed), twin (2 single beds), triple (3 single beds) and family ( double plus single bed).
Several of our rooms may be equipped with a sofa chair-bed and all of our rooms can accept a cot.
Our rooms are laid out over 3 levels but with only a few stairs to negotiate.
If you may have a problem with stairs, we have 3 rooms on the ground floor; please ask and we shall do our best to assist you.
All our rooms have WC, shower and a wash hand basin, Digital LCD TV, coffee/tea, heating, a security safe, free WiFi and a hairdryer.
We also have a Sky TV lounge with internet access (a small charge applies for printing) and a garden smoking area.

Getting there from the Information Centre

From Ayr Tourist Information Centre continue along Sandgate until roundabout, turn right into Fort st. continue until next roundabout, turn right until end then left over River bridge.
At next traffic lights turn right and first left at next roundabout by police station.
Continue on for three miles into Prestwick passing Centrum ice rink on the right and eventually Fernbank guest house is beside a church with a large steeple.

Getting There by Car
From the North follow the A78 (coastal) or the M77?A77 from Glasgow.
From the South (M74) take junction 12 and the A70.
Follow all of these routes to Prestwick International Airport.
Then follow directions 'Getting there by aeroplane' below

Getting There by Railway
From Prestwick Town one stop beyond Prestwick Airport, walk up slight hill to junction, turn right. Fernbank is a 5 minute walk and is situated on corner of Main Street and Bellevue Road.
Taxis are available from the Station

Getting there by Aeroplane
From Prestwick Airport turn left until roundabout, turn right for Prestwick town, Fernbank is 0.5 miles on left by church with large steeple.
Prior to house, turn left on Bellevue Road.
Private parking accessed by lane behind house on the right.
From Glasgow Airport (Paisley), take M8 towards Glasgow and follow M77 to Kilmarnock and Prestwick Airport.
Alternatively, take train from Paisley Gilmour Street to Ayr, alighting at Prestwick Town.

Getting There by Ferry
From Troon head South on coast road, towards Prestwick, follow signs to Prestwick Airport then proceed as from airport. Total journey 10 minutes.
From Stranraer follow signs to Ayr.
Remain on A77 to bypass Ayr and follow signs to Prestwick Airport.
Total journey one and a half hours.
