Getting there from the Information Centre
From Portree tourist information centre.
Turn left onto Bayfield Road and then follow the main road south out of
Portree, towards Kyleakin for 0.5 mile.
Getting There by Railway
From Kyle of Lochalsh.
Take the bus to Kyleakin and then to Portree.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Inverness airport.
Public transport can be arranged to Portree, depending on the time of
arrival via Inverness to Portree.
If you rent a car, Portree is 120 miles from the airport via Loch Ness
and over the bridge to Syke.
A journey which will take approximately 2.5 hours.
Getting There by Ferry
From UIG.
Follow the A87 to Portree and then continue south along the A87 towards
Kyleakin for 500 yards.
