Perth is a beautiful city situated around the River Tay in the very heart of Scotland and is the perfect place to find all that you expect of a great Scottish holiday.
The city centre which sits to the west of the River Tay is the old part of the town with a depth of history.
The main shopping centre is mainly pedestrianised and situated around the High Street area which has an excellent choice of shops, cafes and restaurants.
Also very popular is the Perth Theatre, the new Concert Hall, Museum and Art Gallery, Branklyn Garden, Cherrybank Gardens and Balhousie Castle .
Perth has a stunning riverside setting with a number of gardens and parks and overlooked by Kinnoull Hill renown for its beautiful walks.
Perth is centrally situated for touring Scotland with Scone Palace, Blair Atholl Castle, Glamis Castle and Drummond Castle all in travelling distance.
There is an abundance of golf courses in the area which includes the famous Old Course at St Andrews, Carnoustie and Gleneagles.

Getting there from the Information Centre

From Perth Tourist Information Centre in West Mill Street, Pitcullen Crescent is approximately 15 to 20 minutes walk or 5 minutes by car.
Leave Perth TIC turning right up West Mill Street and exit right onto Old High Street.
At traffic lights turn right then straight on at roundabout to next set of traffic lights.
Continue straight on through a further set of 3 traffic lights and cross the Perth bridge.
Turn left at the end of the bridge into Bridgend and at the next set of traffic lights follow the right fork, A94 to Pitcullen Crescent.
Ardfern Guest House is situated on the left.

Getting There by Railway
From Perth train station, a short taxi journey will take you to Pitcullen Crescent.
Alternatively, a short walk into the city centre, following Leonard Street down the hill onto County Place and South Street will enable you to pick up a number 7 bus from outside the main post office situated in South Street.
This service is for Scone, via Pitcullen Crescent.

Getting there by Aeroplane

From Edinburgh airport take M90 motorway northeast to Perth, exiting at junction 11.
Then follow the A94 in the direction of Coupar Angus and at the third set of traffic lights follow the right fork onto Pitcullen Crescent.

From Glasgow airport follow the M8 to Perth.
At the Broxden roundabout follow signs for the city centre- it is one long straight road all the way to the river.
Cross the River Tay by the Queens Bridge and turn left at the end, following signs for the A94 onto Pitcullen Crescent.

Getting There by Ferry
From Rosyth ferry terminal take M90 motorway northeast to Perth, exiting at junction 11.
Then follow the A94 in the direction of Coupar Angus and at the third set of traffic lights follow the right fork onto Pitcullen Crescent.

FROM EDINBURGH
Take the M90 motorway north to Perth, exit at Junction 11.
Then follow the A94 in the direction of Coupar Angus and at the third set of traffic lights follow the right fork onto Pitcullen Crescent (A94).
Ardfern Guest House is about 300 metres on the left.

FROM GLASGOW
Take the M8 east and northeast onto the M80 to Stirling changing to the M9 and onto the A9 towards Perth. On approaching Perth follow the signs into Perth city centre at Broxden roundabout.
It is one long straight road all the way to the river.
Cross the River Tay by the Queens Bridge and turn left at the end, follow signs for the A93/A94 and at the second set of traffic lights fork to the right onto A94 to Coupar Angus and Ardfern (Pitcullen Crescent) is about 300 metres on the left.

FROM INVERNESS
When approaching Perth on the A9 at Inveralmond Roundabout follow signs into Perth A912.
After approximately 1 mile follow the signs for A93/A94 crossing over the River Tay on the Old Perth Bridge and then turn left.
Take the righthand fork at the next traffic lights onto the A94 (Coupar Angus) and Ardfern (Pitcullen Crescent) is 300 metres on the left.

FROM ROSYTH FERRY TERMINAL
Take the M90 motorway north to Perth, exiting at Junction 11.
Then follow the the signs for A93/A94 and at the third set of traffic lights follow the righthand fork onto the A94 to Coupar Angus and Ardfern (Pitcullen Crescent) is 300 metres on the left.
