Attractions and Activities
From Oban, you can sail to the Isles, or easily travel by car to the most
scenic spots in the United Kingdom. Oban is known as 'Gateway to the Isles'
and from here you can travel to Mull, Iona, Coll, Tiree
and the rest of the Inner Hebrides.
Travelling by car, in a day's travel to the south you can visit the historic Kilmartin Valley, strewn with monuments and evidence of over 5000 years of history.
Or you can travel north to Fort William and climb Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the United Kingdom. To the east you can travel by boat to Kilchurn Castle on Loch Awe or visit St Conan's Kirk, a unique church displaying all of Scotland's architectural styles in a single building.

From the TIC drive through Argyll Square onto Combie Street. Keep right
of the Parish Church and continue straight ahead. At the traffic lights
carry straight on. Ulva Villa is on the right hand side and the house
is located behind.

From the Station walk through Argyll Square onto Combie Street. Keep right
of the Parish Church and continue straight ahead. At the traffic lights
carry straight on. Ulva Villa is on the right hand side and the house
is located behind.

From the Pier walk through Argyll Square onto Combie Street. Keep right
of the Parish Church and continue straight ahead. At the traffic lights
