From Oban, you can sail to the Isles, or easily travel by car to the most scenic spots in the United Kingdom. Oban is known as 'Gateway to the Isles' and from here you can travel to Mull, Iona, Coll, Tiree and the rest of the Inner Hebrides.
Travelling by car, in a day's travel to the south you can visit the historic Kilmartin Valley, strewn with monuments and evidence of over 5000 years of history.
Or you can travel north to Fort William and climb Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the United Kingdom. To the east you can travel by boat to Kilchurn Castle on Loch Awe or visit St Conan's Kirk, a unique church displaying all of Scotland's architectural styles in a single building.

Breakfast is served in the Dining Room between 8am and 9am. An earlier
breakfast can be made available by arrangement. Cereals and fruit juice
are available for your selection. Scottish porridge and Full Scottish
Breakfast also available including assorted fruits, white or wholemeal
toast with marmalades or jams and tea or fresh ground coffee.
Decaffeinated coffee and herbal teas available on request.
