Each year we enjoy welcoming visitors from around the world who come to experience for themselves the magical, dramatic beauty of Oban and the Argyll coast, the ancient seat of the Kings of Scotland which is not only steeped in history, beautiful scenery and great culinary delights, but has leisure pursuits and entertainment to suit all tastes.

St Annes Guest House Accommodation

St Annes is a Victoria Town House built in 1880 and has large airy rooms which retain many of the original Victorian features. The Guest House has seven letting rooms, all comfortably furnished, with colour TV, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. Free WIFI available to guests.

We are also conveniently situated for buses,trains and ferries. Parking is available in the street, and the pay and display car park at the end of the road which is free between 6.00pm and 9.00am.

Entertainment and Restaurant
Paparazzi cafe Bar & Restaurant is a brand new venue for Oban, with ultra chic decor inspired by film and photography. Unique images of celebrities, both iconic and modern, adorn the walls. Paparazzi has a classic menu with a fresh modern twist, inspired by locally sourced produce. Fresh local seafood, the best in the world, as well as locally farmed beef and game.

Well chosen wines complement the menu, and a classic Cocktail list is perfect for an aperitif, or after dinner drinks. Later in the evening, Paparazzi continues as a smart late night venue with DJ's and a Dance Floor. Licensed until 1.00am 7 days.

O'Donnell's Irish Pub, which is downstairs from Paparazzi, also does very good food, serving Bar meals from 5.00pm until 10.00pm, and has regular entertainment and Live Bands. O'Donnell's is a very popular bar with both locals and visitors. Licensed until midnight weekdays, 1.00am weekends. For food, booking is advised, especially if you wish to eat after 9.00pm.

Weddings
Paparazzi is an ideal venue for a wedding reception. We can cater for up to 80 people seated for the reception, and for the evening dance we can hold up to 150 guests. We are happy to arrange your day, from flowers, cars, music, a Scottish Piper, photography and accommodation.

We have 4 Guest Houses to accommodate up to 80 Guests. Licensed until 1 or 2.00am.

Parties and Functions
Paparazzi & O'Donnell's is an ideal fun venue for any kind of Party. Licensed until 1am or 2am. Both bars have a dance floor. Request our party package to include a DJ or live band, a buffet and security.

St Annes is very close to the Town Centre and many local amenities are close by. The Atlantis Leisure Centre, The Corran Halls,Tennis Courts, McCaig's Tower, the Cathedral and local Cinema are all within easy walking distance.

Energie has a gymnasium and aerobic Studios as well as Therapy rooms, and Atlantis has the addition of a swimming pool. Oban has fantastic walks - along the beach to Ganavan - 1 minute to the seafront from the GuestHouses , or Glencruitten Estate and Hills, and Glencruitten Golf Course.

DIRECTIONS
Getting there from the Information Centre:

Argyll Square, Oban. Exit from main door, proceed across Shore Street and turn left into Queens Park Square (Rail and coach area). Proceed North along George Street (Shops on right, water on left). Keep left proceeding along water edge onto Esplanade(One way system also for cars etc).

Drive past Corran Halls and turn right at the mini roundabout, turning back into town. We are on the left, half way down Dunollie Road.

Getting There by Car:
From Glasgow airport, take M8 to Erskine Bridge (exit junction 10) then take A82 along Loch Lomondside following signs for Crianlarich, then Oban (A85).

Getting There by Railway:
From Glasgow Queen Street Station direct to Oban.

Getting there by Aeroplane:
Connell airport is 10 miles from Oban.

Getting There by Ferry:
Oban Railway pier/ferry terminal. Walking - as from station. By Car - Exit as directed from ferry. Follow sign for town centre proceed from Gallanach Road > Shore Street > Argyll Square > first left from Argyll Square > Queens Park Square onto George Street (Shops on right) Proceed keeping water on left on one way.
