Lorne View is a traditional town house situated high above Oban Town on
the west coast of Scotland and enjoys stunning views across the harbour
and bay to the isles of Kerrera and Mull.
Rab and Carolyn have recently bought this lovely house, and have refurbished it from a family home to a very comfortable and welcoming Scottish bed and breakfast.
Lorne View Accommodation
We have two tastefully decorated double rooms both en-suite. Our rooms have Flat screen LCD TV with DVD and CD player, hair dryer, hospitality tray and other personal touches. An iron and ironing board are available on request.
Our dining room/lounge has panoramic views of Oban, and we have a telescope and binoculars so you can see the area with great clarity. In this room we also have a collection of DVD's, CDs, games, books and information about Oban and the outlying areas.
We offer a full cooked Scottish Breakfast, made with Scottish produce when available, or a continental choice. There is free on street parking outside the house and we also have free use of wireless internet connection for use with a suitable laptop. We are open all year round, including Christmas and New Year.
Lorne View is a few minutes walk from the town centre and very near to McCaig's tower. Close by is the bowling green, tennis courts and Atlantis Leisure Centre. There are plenty of choices of good restaurants and pubs in the town.

Getting There by Car:
When coming into Oban on the A85 turn left half way down steep hill at
Kings Knoll Hotel, follow road straight across junction and follow signs
for McCaig's Tower, you’ll find us on the left before tower.
