Oban hotel In an enviable location in the heart of Oban, this modern second floor holiday apartment enjoys wonderful views across the bay and out to the islands beyond.

Kerrera View holiday apartment is situated in the picturesque town centre of Oban on the second floor of a modern and well kept apartment block and has it’s own private parking space.

It has superb views over Oban bay to the nearby islands of Kerrera, Mull and Lismore. Due to it’s excellent positioning all the local amenities are on your door step, with shops, bars, restaurants and leisure facilities within walking distance.

The apartment is newly refurbished in 2010 to a very high standard. It has 2 bedrooms, 1 King room with en-suite shower room and 1 twin room / or zip link super king with main bath/ shower room next door, both bedrooms have LCD television with Freeview and DVD.

The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer and microwave. The lounge with it’s stunning views of the island ferries coming and going has a relaxed atmosphere with a comfortable dinning area.

Attractions and Activities
From Oban’s bustling harbour, there are daily boat trips to the surrounding islands, including Mull, Staffa and Iona where porpoise, dolphins, whales and basking sharks are often spotted.

Local activities include walking, mountain biking, kayaking and skiing. There are plenty of castles, gardens and historic sites to explore or literally on your doorstep there are a variety of shops, bars and restaurants.

Oban also has a cinema and leisure centre. Shop 100 yards, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

Oban is known as gateway to the isles, due to it’s ferry links to the islands and with many quaint and picturesque villages in the surrounding area there is many places to visit during your stay. Oban itself has much to do and see from historical sites to many and varied leisure activities.

DIRECTIONS
Getting there from the Information Centre:

Kerrera view is directly across road on shore street side of tourist information centre.

Getting There by Car:
On entering Oban follow main street to Argyll square and turn off onto Albany street (next to tourist information centre),this is a one way street,take first turn off to the right which takes you to junction onto shore street.Turn right onto shore street,again a one way road and immediately on your left hand side is the private car parking for Kerrera view.

Getting There by Railway:
There are daily trains from Glasgow Queens Street to Oban and Kerrera view is a 2 minute walk from station.

Getting there by Aeroplane:
Oban airport is situated 5 miles north of oban.

Getting There by Ferry:
Kerrera view is a 5 minute walk from Oban ferry terminal.
