Having run Kathmore for 27 years Morven & Keith are very experienced
in the art of running a guest house. They are more than happy to help
guests devise their daily itineraries and help plan routes.
You will see from the photos that we have pride in Kathmore and what we
do. It is important to us that each guest enjoys their stay at Kathmore.

All our guest rooms are tastefully furnished to make you feel comfortable, and are fully equipped with colour televisions, tea and coffee trays, hairdryers, etc. Seven ensuite and one twin room are available, all reasonably priced and good value for money. Choice of breakfast offered to suit everyone's taste and appetite.

Guests are offered a choice menu which covers everyone's taste and appetite.
Special diets catered for on request.
Guest Lounge
The guest lounge bar and attractive decking area provide a charming spot
for meeting other guests or simply relaxing during those long summer evenings.
Guest are welcome to take a wee dram or a bottle of wine into the lounge
to enjoy, glasses are provided.
Decking area to the rear of Kathmore has French windows from guest lounge open up onto decking area where guests can enjoy peace and quiet after a long day travelling. Guests are permitted to smoke here.
There is a garden and private parking area. If you just want to have a day doing nothing, then just relax in the garden. We have off road parking for all our guests.
Bedroom 6 Kathmore Guest House
This is a beautiful large double en suite. Well appointed and very modern.
There is a sofa bed in this room which can be used as a second double
sleeping area. The en suite holds a double size shower, WC and wash basin.

DIRECTIONS
Getting there from the Information Centre:
From Oban Tourist Information Centre at Argyll Square. Follow signs Campbeltown/
Lochgilphead including lights as you leave roundabout, count three sets,
at third set stay in left lane, cross straight over, Kathmore Guest House
50 yards on right. Straight into private car park.
Getting There by Railway:
From Oban Railway Station turn right, cross straight over Argyll Square
onto Combie Street. Continue on main road, which becomes Soroba Road,
pass the Co-op superstore on right and continue up to traffic lights.
At lights cross over, Kathmore is 50 yards on right.
Getting There by Ferry:
From Oban Ferry Terminal make your way to Argyll Square. Take Campbeltown/
Lochgilphead road. Continue on main road which become Soroba Road. Pass
the Co-op superstore on right and continue up to traffic lights( LEFT
LANE) At lights cross over, Kathmore is 50 yards on right.
