Barcaldine Castle Accommodation

Barcaldine Castle provides luxury accommodation. Our rooms are elegant, opulent and romantic, each with rich and luxurious fabrics to create a traditional look and a deeply relaxing, romantic ambience. No two rooms are identical in size, shape or aspect.

Each room has a luxurious king size bed with either loch views or views of the open countryside to the front of the castle. Rooms are furnished with luxury bed linen and pure new wool throws, a flat screen HDTV with Blu-ray/DVD player, with movies available from your hosts, together with a good selection of games and magazines.

We offer tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary water, mini hospitality hamper, bathrobe, slippers and hairdryer. Luxury toiletries provided by Arran Aromatics.

Dining
At Barcaldine we take pride in using local fresh produce for our top quality Scottish Breakfast. A choice of fresh Fruits Juices, Scotch Porridge Oats with a variety of toppings (Served with a choice of Raisins or Whisky with Brown Sugar or Honey and Berries). A selection of Cereals, variety of fresh fruits and a selection of fruit yogurts.

We also serve a full Scottish Breakfast and alternatively, a full Scottish Vegetarian Breakfast. Granary and Farmhouse Breads with a selection of Preserves. A selection of Coffees, Teas and Herbal infusions.

Breakfast is served from 8.00 until 9.30am. Please let us know if you require an earlier breakfast - we can provide a tray continental breakfast for you to enjoy in your room, alternatively we can pack your continental breakfast for you to take away.

DIRECTIONS
Barcaldine Castle lies in the heart of the west coast of Scotland in Argyll, just 9 miles north of Oban, off the A828 Oban to Fort William road on the south shore of Loch Creran. The castle is 2.5 miles from the village of Barcaldine and 1.5 miles from the village of Benderloch.

From Benderloch, at the school turn off the A828 and take the road signposted to Tralee, South Shian, Eriska and Barcaldine Castle. Follow this road for 1.5 miles and at the crossroads with a letterbox, turn right and follow the brown sign for Barcaldine Castle.
