Hill walking, bird-watching, fishing, canoeing, sailing, and horse riding, Nevis Range Ski Company (Aonach Mhor) and The White Corries (Glencoe Ski Company) are approximately one hour from Oban, where the skiing is the best in Scotland.

Getting there from the Information Centre:
Oban Tourist Information Centre: Follow the road along Obans Esplanade
to North Pier, Follow road along Corran Esplanade, along past Cathedral.
We are 200 metres near War Memorial.
Getting There by Railway:
Oban Station along Esplanade towards North Pier carry along Corran Esplanade
past the cathedral we are 200 metres from Cathedral along near the war
memorial. We are five houses back from war memorial.
Getting there by Aeroplane:
Glasgow Airport: 2 hour drive North West over Erskine Bridge follow signs
for Loch Lomond/Crianlarich, drive through some magnificent scenery. Drive
along the shores of Loch Lomond (A82), to Tarbert then Crianlarich. Follow
signs for Oban (A85).
Getting There by Ferry:
Oban Station along Esplanade towards North Pier carry along Corran Esplanade
past the Cathedral, we are 200 metres from the Cathedral along near the
War Memorial. We are five houses back from War Memorial.
