Dell-Mar
is a listed detached Victorian town house ideally situated at
the "Town End" of Beechgrove.
It overlooks the tennis courts and bowling green with the Moffat
Hills just beyond.
An elegant and spacious lounge and seperate tables in the breakfast room
add to the pleasures of staying at Dell-Mar.
The charming old Spa Town of Moffat has many assets which have made it
one of the most popular stop off favourites in Scotland.
However, 'just passing through' many people have stayed on to explore
and experience this 'magnetic' Town where people return again and again.
Situated within 1 mile of the M74, both Glasgow and Edinburgh are within
1 hours drive with Dumfries & Gretna within 30 minutes and Carlisle
and the M6, 40 minutes.
Although surrounded by beautiful hills, most of Moffat itself is on the
level.
Here we have an excellent choice of shops, retaurants, cafes and famed
'watering holes'.

Breakfast - is served between 8.30 and 9.00 am at seperate tables in the
breakfast room.

Parking - outside Dell-Mar and in Moffat is free.
The town centre and unusual 'twin' high street is a level 5 minutes walk
away.
At present we do not take credit or debit cards, so payment is by cash
or cheque only, however, we do take payment in Euro's.
Activities
This area is justly renowned for varied walking, cycling, fishing, shooting
and exploration of Dumfries and Galloway and the Scottish Borders.
The highly recommended and challenging golf course welcomes visitors and
the awe inspiring position is best described as 'God's own Country'.
Directions
By Car - On the main M74 carlisle to Glasgow motorway,
approximately 25 minutes north of Gretna Green at Junction 15.
By Rail - The nearest railway stations to Moffat are
Lockerbie or Dumfies from where there are regular bus services check here

By Air - Both Edinburgh and Glasgow airports are within
1 hours drive away and there are connecting coach services.
Directions to Dell-Mar
From the M74 (junction15) you enter Moffat from the South.
The 'dual' High Street changes to a single carriageway at the Stag Hotel
and after 100 yards, you reach a mini roundabout.
Beechgrove iss off to the right and Dell-Mar is just another 100 yards
on your right.
Travelling South on the A701, you turn left at the mini roundabout as
you come in to Moffat and Dell-Mar is 100 yards on your right.
