It is located next to Britain's smallest cathedral, The Cathedral of The Isles.
The College was originally built for students of theology in the Scottish Episcopal Church.

The aim of The College of The Holy Spirit (with the Cathedral) is to create a centre for spiritual development and artistic expression for individuals and groups, and hospitality for guests and for the local community on Cumbrae.
The guest house allows visitors to enjoy a unique combination of modern luxury and homemade meals in a building full of history and character.
