Getting there from the Information Centre
From Melrose TIC, turn left and follow the road to join B6361 to Newstead.
Continue through the village, at top of the hill "Big Well Wynd"
is on the right, we are first turning on the left, No 9.
Getting There by Railway
Nearest railway stations are Berwick-upon-Tweed and Edinburgh Waverley,
both approximately 1 hours drive.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Edinburgh Airport take A68 south to Jedburgh. Approx 3 miles south
of Earlston at roundabout take the A6091 (A7) towards Galashiels, 1 mile
further follow B6361 to Newstead the 2nd opening on right.
Getting There by Ferry
From Rosyth follow signs for A68 south to Jedburgh, approximately 3 miles
south of Earlston at roundabout take A6091 (A7) towards Gala. 1 mile further
onto B6361 to Newstead then 2nd opening on the right. From Hull follow
signs north on the M1 and onto A68 at Newcastle, follow through Jedburgh.
Continue through St Boswells to roundabout and follow as above.
