Tigh Lios is a large 10 bedroom traditional Highland home right
on the Main Street in the middle of Lochinver.
It is minutes walk from all the amenities- restaurants, shops, play park, Village Hall, petrol station, pubs, pier, tourist office, leisure & Health centre. Central for all amenities and activities!
Tigh Lios B&B Accommodation
All rooms are decorated to a high standard with satellite TV and tea/coffee making facilities in each room. There are two fabulous guest lounges with views to the sea.
Bedroom 1 is a lovely en-suite family room with a double bed and single bed in it. It can accommodate another bed also. Views to the sea. Bedroom 2 is a large family room with a double bed and two single beds in it. It has its own private sinks with shaving points, with the bathroom and shower located right beside the bedroom. Decorated to a very high standard with amazing views to the Minch.
Bedrooms 3 and 4 are twin bedrooms on floor 2 with an additional lounge area in the hallway. Both bedrooms are immaculate with all new furniture and carpets. Windows open to the Minch at the front of the house and wonderful views. Both bedrooms have their own wash hand basins.
Bedroom 5 in an en-suite ground floor twin bedroom so ideal for anyone with difficulties with stairs. Views to the sea and with satellite TV and i-pod dock. Bedroom 6 is a double room with wash hand basin. This room is located on the first floor. The bathroom is shared and along the corridor. Satellite TV and i-pod dock.
Bedroom 7 is a en-suite double bedroom with views to the sea. Satellite TV and i-pod dock. This room is located on the first floor. Bedroom 8 and 9 are on the second floor and are both twin rooms with amazing views to the sea and beyond. Both rooms have private wash hand basins. Satellite TV and i-Pod docks.
The Bothy – this room is external to the house at the back garden area. It is a twin room with satellite TV and this room allows dogs to stay in it. The back garden is enclosed so ideal for the animals!
Facilities
On the ground floor there is a large utility room with washing machine
and tumble drier. There is a ground floor shower room with electric shower.
The lounges and dining areas as well as kitchen are all on the ground
floor also. The lounge has a large selection of DVD's, videos and CDs
for guests use and pleasure.
There is ample car parking space to the rear of the house. Tigh Lios has large sheds at the back of the house for bicycles or motor bikes to be kept under cover. The back garden is a sun trap where guests can lounge with a BBQ and glass of wine. We have a hot tub running during the peak season and guests can enjoy relaxing in it after a long days walk or climb or fish !
The child prices are aged under 5 years old - free and ages 5-13 enjoy special discount prices. Single costs will vary according to the time of year.
