Stac Fada, named after the sea stack in Stoer Bay, sits on the hill above the bay, along a private lane, midway between the wilderness and the sea. A short stroll takes you down to the beach, where otters emerge to bathe in the burn and dazzlingly white gannets perform their feeding aerobatics. A wander through our garden gate leads you through wild scented orchids into the wilderness, home to red deer, buzzards, red-throated divers and recently two golden eagles. Wonderful views over Canisp, Suilven, Stac Pollaidh, Cul Mor and Quinag can be seen from here.
