Nether Craig Caravan Park Accommodation

We offer exceptionally well spaced, hard standing and sheltered touring pitches, including the availability of some seasonal touring pitches. Tents are also welcome. Family-owned and run, Nether Craig welcomes caravans, motorhomes and tents from mid March and offers grass or hard-standing pitches, hook-ups, a very well appointed toilet block, disabled facilities, laundry, shop and play area.

Nether Craig is situated in a quiet, spacious location surrounded by farmland. Well away from major roads and enjoying picturesque views of the hills, it makes an ideal base for touring, hill-walking, bird-watching, fishing, pony-trekking and golf. Whatever your interest, Nether Craig is an ideal base. Touring by car or bicycle couldn't be easier with miles of open road.

Caravan Hire
Enjoy the freedom and comfort of our 8 new Thistle Award Caravans, set in a quiet and picturesque location with views of rural Ayrshire. Caravans are available from 4.00pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10 am on the day of departure.

Please leave the caravan in a clean and tidy condition. We reserve the right to inspect the caravan before departure and to charge additional fees for cleaning, damage and breakages.

Pets in Holiday Homes
Dogs and cats must be house trained - no puppies or kittens. Sleeping baskets/bedding must be brought. Pets are not allowed on seating or beds and must never be left unattended in the caravan or on the site.

Tourers
Nethercraig has built its reputation on being a superb touring park and once again this year was awarded 5 stars by Visit Scotland. Moving with the times, we have installed Wifi which is included in the overnight tariff, gated entry to the park and maintained the same traditional values that have stood us in good stead for many years.

Seasonal pitches are available as well as a Gold Awarded storage facility with 24 hour surveillance cameras installed. You also have the option of storing your tourer and leaving the hassle of setting up your tourer for a short stay on the park to us with one quick phone call!

Nethercraig Holiday Park is a friendly, family owned and run park. Rest assured, we are committed to ensuring your stay with us is relaxed and enjoyable. We have consistently been graded as "five-star" by Visit Scotland and have achieved the David Bellamy "Gold" award for conservation and environmental excellence.

The park itself offers excellent facilities for tourers as well as a laundry and childrens' adventure play area. We are also delighted to offer to our guests the facilities of our sister holiday park, Crofthead which is situated in Ayr on the west coast of Scotland. Here, we have an indoor games room and TV lounge.

Nearby there is plenty on offer for the more energetic. There are excellent equestrian facilities including pony-trekking, great fishing, off road driving, walking....and the busy cities of Perth, Dundee, Edinburgh and the town of St Andrews are easily accessible in under an hour.

Glamis Castle, By Forfar, Home of Her Majesty the Queen Mother and birthplace of Princess Margaret. Duncan's hall of the oldest part of the castle is the legendary setting for Shakespeare's famous play MacBeth. Large gardens, nature trail, licensed restaurant, gift shop, gallery shop, garden shop, picnic area, children's playground and ample parking area.

Scone Palace, Perth
Scotland's treasure house - crowning place of the kings of Scotland and of the Stone of Scone. Glorious historic grounds. Rolling lawns, informal gardens, veteran agricultural machinery, giant trees, highland cattle, adventure playground, picnic park, gift shop, home baking and coffee shop.

Loch of the Lowes Visitor Centre, Dunkeld Visitor Centre and observation hide by lochside. Breeding Osprey, wildfowl and other birds viewed from hide. Centre with wildlife displays, monitor and shop.

Glen Isla, Glenisla is the most westerly of the five Angus Glens and the only one where the road exits to the north, as well as the south, so you can drive through the Grampian hills to Braemar and Deeside.
