Bankhead House Accommodation

Built during the Victorian era, the house is a delightful blend of old and new, allowing a peaceful and comfortable ambience. Inside, many original features are retained , present day comforts have been added; the blend allows a peaceful and comfortable ambiance.

Bankhead House is a family home, and B&B guests are welcomed into an informal family atmosphere. Its rural location coupled with the close proximity to the coast , and the stunning views that can be enjoyed during each season of the year, make Bankhead a special place to stay.

The accommodation provides two spacious, comfortable bedrooms with ensuite facilities. Breakfast is served in the dining room with a southerly aspect over the lovely gardens and looking out over the bay.

The dining room also doubles as a guest lounge. It has a television with Freeview and a DVD player. WiFi is available throughout the house.

Breakfast
There’s a choice of fruit, cereals, yoghurt to begin with, followed by an Aga cooked breakfast using locally produced food, including home grown produce when available. Home made preserves using fruit from the garden and the hedgerows, can also be enjoyed.

On the southern fringe of Fife on the east coast of Scotland. The nearest town is Leven ( 2 miles, 3km), historically a holiday destination as it’s a seaside town with sandy beaches. There is a swimming pool and sports facility, two golf courses, one of which is Leven Links, a qualifying course for the St Andrews’ Open Championship.

Recently opened is the Regent Cinema, a 374 seat cinema, Leven Community Cinema , an alternative to the multiplex cinemas of Dunfermline or Dundee. There’s a large Sainsbury supermarket, and the pedestrianized town centre has a range of shops, banks etc.

Directions
From junction 2A of the M90, take the M92 to the Kirkcaldy East roundabout. Turn right onto the A921, then left at the next roundabout onto the A915 to Leven. Continue on the A915 to the mini roundabout opposite the entrance to the Scoonie Cemetary, turn left onto the B927 towards Cupar. After approximately one mile, turn right into Bankhead.
