Killin hotel Fiddlers Bay Lodge provides deluxe self catering accommodation on the shores of Loch Tay in the heart of Perthshire, Scotland.

Situated in a privately owned 160 acre estate, approximately 3 miles from the town of Killin on the eastern edge of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, we think this area is the perfect all year holiday destination.

Located in undoubtedly one of the most stunning parts of Scotland, with the Ben Lawers mountains as a backdrop and the spectacular Loch Tay on the front doorstep, you can choose to relax or be exhilarated - or both! It is also relatively "undiscovered", with all the benefits that brings for a relaxing "get away from it all" holiday.

Fiddlers Bay Lodge Accommodation

Fiddlers Bay is owned and managed by us and we use it ourselves for short breaks as often as we can. Much of the time, however, we let it out to guests and we're delighted with all their comments which we think speak for themselves.

Fiddlers Bay is very well looked after - it feels like a really comfortable, well equipped home rather than a commercial holiday let and it's in a fabulous location with great views across the Loch and mountains. We believe it provides some of the best quality self catering accommodation in the area, and this is reflected with our 4 star rating.

Fiddlers Bay is a fully furnished 3 bedroom "deluxe" lodge on the banks of Loch Tay with fabulous views over the surrounding area. Fiddlers Bay is actually a comfortable, spacious, fully fitted and double glazed Scandinavian style home rather than a "log cabin".

Fiddlers Bay will comfortably sleep six adults. It is an ideal base for fishing and walking holidays and great for families looking to relax and explore. There are excellent facilities on the estate and in nearby Killin and the lodge is well away from roads, is quiet, safe and secure.

Accommodation comprises of the following: 2 Double bedrooms (1 en-suite), 1 Twin bedroom, lounge/open plan living area and fully fitted kitchen. En-suite bathroom with shower and a second family bathroom
with bath and shower.

Outside: veranda, outdoor table and chairs, private parking for 2 cars, gas barbeque, welly-boot rack and
wet weather coat hooks.

Over the past couple of years we have invested significantly in Fiddlers Bay to ensure the accommodation is of the highest standards. A new kitchen was fitted recently, power showers have been added (vital after a day in the hills or on the Loch) and you will find new carpets, curtains, bedding and furniture.

We can supply towels, cots, highchairs and welcome hampers, all at reasonable rates - please ask when you book.

There is a great Outback gas barbeque and comfortable furniture on the terrace with great views over the Loch. Our guests notice that Fiddlers Bay feels like a comfortable home rather than a sometimes spartan commercial holiday let.

You will find Fiddlers Bay equipped to a very high standard, with tea, coffee, cooking oil and all basic consumable kitchen essentials provided for your convenience. Our guests regularly tell us that Fiddlers Bay is some of the best equipped self catering accommodation they have ever stayed in.

The lodge comes equipped with the following as standard:

. Large Sony Widescreen LCD TV
. Satellite TV and radio
. DVD player
. Range of CDs and DVD's
. Dishwasher
. Microwave
. Washing machine
. Egyptian cotton bed linen
. Iron and ironing board
. Parking - parking is available for 2 cars right next to the lodge

Complimentary welcome hamper
For each full week booking, we will supply a locally sourced welcome hamper containing bread, cheese, ham, milk, butter, fruit and a few other goodies to get you started.

If guests wish to supplement this with a deluxe hamper or if you would like to order a hamper if you're staying less than 7 nights, or have any other special requirements, we would be delighted to help.

We always endevour to ensure there is tea, coffee, cooking oil, tea towels and other basic kitchen essentials provided for your convenience to save you having to bring these basics with you.

Pet Policy
We don't allow pets in the lodge unfortunately.

Smoking Policy
Fiddlers Bay is strictly non-smoking.

Accessibility - the lodge has been used by guests with wheelchairs without any problem. Fiddlers Bay is all on one level, with only 2 shallow steps up to the veranda.
