Location
Forest Lodge Guest House is rurally situated in the Great Glen of Scotland. It sits on the A 82 road 24 miles from Fort William, and 46 miles from Inverness, at South Laggan. Three miles north from Forest Lodge the A 87 leaves the A 82, at INVERGARRY and proceeds to SKYE and the North.

Touring by car can take guests much further afield and places such as Inverness, Mallaig, Skye and Ullapool are easily achieved in a day. Again there are many leaflets to enable guests to choose and plan their route.

The Great Glen Way which can be walked from Fort William to Inverness (or vice versa) is suitable for most ages to participate in. Forest Lodge, which is within sight of Laggan Locks, is ideally positioned for a first or second night stopover depending on the walkers ability.

Of course what everyone wants to see is the monster! Loch Ness starts at Fort Augustus and that is only 10 miles away.

Forest Lodge has a considerable number of Munroes' within easy reach; this would allow climbers to tick off a few more! Drying facilities are available in the unlikely event that anyone should get wet!!
