Whether it be a one night stop over or 2 or 3 days or longer we are sure
your experience will be one you will take with you and remember for a

We are an ideal stop over for those doing the End to End (55 miles to John O'Groats), or those of you taking the ferry to Orkney.
For those of you looking to make more of a holiday in the area there is an abundance of things to keep you occupied and entertained for 2,3,4 or more days!
A visit to the Timespan Heritage Centre in HELMSDALE is an absolute must, as is the Heritage Centre in BRORA. Why not treat yourself to a days fishing on the famous river Helmsdale, try your hand at gold panning at the famous Gold Rush spot on the beautiful Strath of Kildonan, test your golfing skills on Helmsdales testing 9 hole course, or even better book a round of golf at the famous links course in BRORA (10 miles South).

Things
to do:
There are many, many lovely walks (Hill walks too!). A drive over Glen
Loth will give you chance to see Red Deer, Roe Deer, Golden Eagle, Hen
Harrier and stunning views of the Strath.
For those of you lucky enough you may even glimpse an Otter or two on
the River Helmsdale.
Birdwatching, Mountain Biking (GOLSPIE), Loch fishing and so much more
you will need to return to finish all the things you did not get to do
the first time!!
We have a rod box for those of you who are fishing, a secure garden area for your cycles and parking is in a quiet residential street.
We can offer an excellent 3 course a la carte dinner (Sample Menu available
in our Gallery section).
Further North there is the fabulous Whaligoe Steps these are a well kept
secret and another absolute must for those of you who appreciate the natural
beauty the area offers, camera at the ready for this trip! For the Archeologists
there are many places very close by that are excellent for this.
Hearty packed lunches can be provided with notice. We hope you will sample
