links courses in the world, they pride themselves on their highland hospitality.
Brora Golf Club:
Also, not too far away is Brora on the A9, home of Brora Golf
Club.18 holes par 69.
Loth:
Loth is located beautifully between hill and sea. The area is
rich in "Brochs" the mysterious stone structures dating from
ancient times.
Clynelish Distillery:
Located in Brora, Clynelish Distillery is worth a visit. Spring
water from the Clynemilton burn is used to produce this fruity Single
Malt Scotch Whisky.
Brora Heritage Centre:
Offers a wide selection of exhibits on the local Whisky, Coal
and Woollen industry.
The remote crofting area of Loth on the North East coast situated off
the A9 is the perfect choice for a relaxing holiday. Interesting places
to visit are within driving distance.
Three miles north of Loth is Helmsdale, with its harbour, shops and restaurants. The River Helmsdale is a firm favourite of the fisherman with the fresh-water fishing on the river being considered to be the best in the UK.
Helmsdale Highland Games are held annually and the top Scottish athletes,
pipers and dancers compete.
Dunrobin Castle
A magnificent castle in a magnificent setting and well worth a visit.
Perched on a high terrace above walled gardens, Dunrobin Castle, with
fairytale spires and turrets, rises above the North Sea like an illustration
from a storybook.
The castle is the seat of Clan Sutherland and home of the Earls of Sutherland.
It has magnificent history and currently lived in by the Countess of Sutherland.
