Our rooms are furnished to a very high quality, choose from our Luxury Room featuring a Jacuzzi bath or alternatively the King Size Room and Double Room. All are ensuite with Luxury Molton Brown toiletries.

Tea & Coffee is available throughout your stay the in breakfast room, for your convenience we would be delighted to provide a tray in your room.

Gretna Green although famous for weddings is also the ideal location to visit the Scottish Borders as well as Carlisle, Cumbria and we are only an hour away from the lake district national park. We have information on hand to assist you in enjoying your stay.

Located a short walk from Anvil View is the world famous “Old Blacksmiths Shop”. Here you can browse the shops and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere. Shops range from classic scottish such as Kilt making to modern food and cooker lessons in store.

You will be able to venture back and discover the history of the Old Blacksmiths Shop, and watch the many weddings which take place in the romantic surroundings of Gretna Green unless of course your attending your very own.

Getting there from the Information Centre:
Leave the A74(M) at Junction 22 in direction of Gretna B7076, Dumfries and South West Scotland and join the Glasgow Road (B7076). Stay on for 0.9 miles and turn right into Gretna Loaning. At the end of this road turn right - you will see a sign for Anvil View on the right hand side.

Getting There by Car:
