The Dulaig Accommodation

Make yourself at home in the elegant drawing room, enjoy the gardens, summerhouse and wildlife, and choose from our three beautifully appointed guest bedrooms, of which two are available for let at any one time.

Guests very often tell us our beds, by Vi Spring, are the most comfortable they have ever slept in. All bedrooms are on the first floor of our house and have superb en suites, views over our garden and enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside.

All are furnished with fine linens and Arts and Crafts antiques. Thoughtful extras include Satellite TV, DVD, silent mini fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer, fluffy towels and bathrobes, and luxury toiletries....and there are daily visits from The Cake Fairy.

Extensive private parking includes a garage for motor bikes and cycles. We have drying facilities for clothing and equipment. A computer providing free Internet access is available for your use and if you have your own computer with you there is free Wi-fi Internet access.

Breakfast
Relax over a leisurely breakfast served at our large table and freshly cooked to order, using home-made and local produce where possible. Enjoy delicious eggs from our free-range Black Rock hens, and home-made breads, muesli, granola, preserves and potato scones, all favourites of our guests.

The Gardens
Enjoy a stroll round our large secluded garden with its open lawns, mature trees, woodland glade, vegetable and fruit patch, and wildlife. Red squirrels and birds - including pheasants and ducks - feast at several feeders around the garden.

You can also see our free range Black Rock hens - Buttercup, Daisy, Bluebell, Rose, Iris, Heather and new girls Ivy, Lily, Poppy and Hazel- great for the garden and for free-range eggs for your breakfast!

We are really enthusiastic (if a little unorthodox!) amateur gardeners and are well underway with building our larger pond. The summerhouse provides you with a comfortable spot for relaxing and an excellent viewpoint for watching or photographing the birds and wildlife as they visit the pond.

There is something to see all year round e.g. as well as formal planting areas we have a marvellous display of fungi from late summer.
