BUNKHOUSE / HOSTEL ACCOMMODATION FOR 2 TO 60+ PEOPLE
Craggan Outdoors offer good value, comfortable accommodation for individuals and groups in our Bunkhouse and Bothy, located side-by-side in a secluded and picturesque spot at the top of the Glenbeg Estate, just a couple of miles off the A95 Grantown-Aviemore road. Peace and quiet is guaranteed, along with the fantastic views, yet it is just a 5 minute drive into nearby Grantown-on-Spey.

We welcome everybody...couples and families, individuals that need a bed for a night or two on a hostel-style basis, friends having a party, groups large or small that are combining their stay with us with some of our activities, cyclists, bikers, walkers, paddlers that need accommodation as they pass through the area, through to companies that are seeking an 'away from it all' meeting base.

Basically, if you need somewhere to stay, then Craggan Bunkhouse and Bothy is the place for you! Price per person ranges from £12.50 for groups of 28+ staying five or more nights, up to £17 for 1-4 people staying 1 night. Bunkhouse and Bothy are both available for exclusive hire, either separately or together.

CRAGGAN BUNKHOUSE
Craggan Bunkhouse is a light, bright and airy converted farmhouse that sleeps up to 27 people over three rooms, two bunk-rooms of 11 and 12 beds each, and a cosier 4-bed room. Craggan Bunkhouse is double-glazed and central heated.

Downstairs is a large open-plan kitchen and dining / common room area, along with bathroom facilities on a minimum of a 1:5 basis. The kitchen is well equipped, and bathrooms are clean, bright and well lit.

Entertainment-wise, other than the glorious setting to enjoy, books and games are provided, as is a TV/DVD for the playing of DVDs, and a radio/CD player. Don't forget your DVDs & CDs. There can't be many better bases in the Cairngorms for a large group. Please contact us to reserve the Bunkhouse. For smaller parties, the Bothy is also available.

THE BOTHY
Craggan Bothy is a converted steading offering snug and cosy accommodation across a single floor. The bunk-room sleeps six people, with room to squeeze in an extra bunk if necessary. A light and spacious wheelchair-accessible wet-room adjoins the bunkroom.

The kitchen and dining area is at the other end of the building and includes a wood burner for cosy evenings, although Craggan Bothy is centrally heated.

Entertainment-wise, other than the glorious setting to enjoy, books and games are provided, as is a TV/DVD for the playing of DVDs, and a radio/CD player. Don't forget your DVDs & CDs. The Bothy is perfect for smaller groups, particularly families and friends, but can also be used in combination with the Bunkhouse to accommodate larger groups, particularly when there is a requirement for separate sleeping areas for boys and girls, and male and female group leaders.

Whilst the main focus for Craggan Bunkhouse and Bothy is pre-booked groups staying for a few nights or a week, we are also available for use as a 'turn up and stay the night' hostel. Groups of friends, couples and families touring the Highlands, groups of walkers, cyclists, bikers, paddlers and so on are all welcome, be it just for the one night or longer.

Whilst always best to call ahead to ensure availability and avoid disappointment, if we have the space then we are more than happy to accommodate you on the day, in either Bunkhouse or Bothy.
