Hunterian Art Gallery:
The Hunterian Art Gallery - the art collection wing of the wider William Hunter bequest to the University of Glasgow - is housed a short walk from the main museum, on the opposite side of University Avenue.
Famous for its bequests of James Abbott McNeill Whistler (1834-1903) and Charles Rennie Macintosh (1868-1928), it also has fine collections of Scottish Colourists as well as local artists, collectively known as the Glasgow Boys.
