The Area of Dennistoun:
Named after Lord Dennistoun, this area of Glasgow is close to the High Street, the oldest part of the city.

There is a 13th century Cathedral and Necropolis with its famous monuments, The Provand's Lordship, the oldest house in Glasgow, and on the site of the Bishop's Palace, the Museum of Religion with its Zen garden.

Location:
Craigielea is five minutes by bus or two stations away by train from the centre of the exciting city of Glasgow. If you prefer to walk, it is fifteen minutes to Glasgow Cathedral, Provand's Lordship (Glasgow's oldest house) and St. Mungo's Museum.

Twenty minutes will take you into George Square, the Tourist Information Centre, Gallery of Modern Art and the beautiful Victorian architecture of Glasgow's Merchant City.
