An iMac in every room
The Beardmore prides itself on our innovative leisure and conference facilities.
As well as free wireless internet access and PCs for guest use throughout
our public areas, we also have an iMac in every bedroom.
Each of our 168 bedrooms has its very own 20 inch iMac with:
· 50 free television and radio stations provided by Freeview;
· CD/DVD player and a range of USB points so you can plug in your
iPod, iPhone, MP3 player, camera or memory stick;
· free Internet access, webcam internet bookmarks for local weather,
transport, local attractions/area, shopping, maps and MSN;
· free calls over the internet using Skype;
· access to Apple software including iTunes and iPhoto;
· guest information such as hotel directory and services, menus,
room service details, conference facilities, seasonal offers and much
more; and
· multiple language options (English, French, German, Italian and
Spanish).

Our unique facility is particularly suitable for healthcare conferences and meetings which can be enriched by our ability to live stream surgical procedures from the Golden Jubilee National Hospital and by utilising the clinical skills facilities at The Beardmore Centre for Health Science.

Our Food:
Our commitment at the Beardmore is to quality, seasonal, Scottish produce,
much of which is sourced locally. There are plenty of dining options to
choose from, whether it’s entertaining a client, or enjoying our
award winning creative menus with friends or family.
All our fresh fish is sustainable and caught by day boats in Scottish
waters, some of which is landed in Peterhead, Shetland and Scrabster,
and our beef is supplied by Tulloch the butcher, sourced from the nearby
Glennifer Hills.

Our Conferences:
The Beardmore is Scotland’s national public sector conference centre
and a member of Conference Centres of Excellence.
All of our facilities have been designed to ensure all delegates can have
a productive and stimulating experience in an environment conducive for
work and study.
Ensuring successful events is our number one priority, and we will work
in partnership with you to ensure that we create a tailored event to meet
your objectives and budget.
Experienced event co-ordinators will take you through each aspect
of planning your event, including:
· understanding your objectives;
· choosing the right conference or meeting rooms;
· selecting the most appropriate seating style or working with
you to create your own unique blend;
· preparing a balanced and enticing menu to meet your delegate
and event profile;
· planning your audiovisual, video conferencing or other technology
based services, such as webcasting or voting buttons; and
· tailoring a range of services for your delegates, from assisting
with transport arrangements to arranging interesting excursions and fresh
ideas.
On the day of your event, our team will be on hand to confirm all of your
arrangements and assist with any last minute requests.

Beardmore Hotel Location:
The four-star Beardmore Hotel and Conference Centre in Clydebank, near
Glasgow, has a waterfront location on the banks of the River Clyde, just
minutes from the M8.
We also enjoy quick transfer times to Glasgow city centre, as well as
the national motorway and rail networks. We also have free parking for
up to 300 cars, and our own helipad.
Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park is just 20 minutes to the
west and Robert Burns’ Ayrshire is just a short drive away.
Rail, Dalmuir Station:
Take a low level train from either Glasgow Queen Street or Central Station
to Dalmuir Station. The Beardmore Hotel and Conference Centre is situated
approximately 10 minutes walk from the station. (See route map above).
There are frequent trains running into the city centre and to Loch Lomond
with a journey time of approx. 20 minutes. Connections to Edinburgh from
Queen Street are every 15 minutes or take advantage of the new direct
route from Dalmuir to Edinburgh which runs every hour.
Travelling to the Beardmore from London? Why not take the overnight sleeper
service which runs nightly in both directions.
Bus routes:
The nearest bus stop is on Dumbarton Road, which is also just a few minutes
walk from the hotel. Regular services run towards Glasgow and Dumbarton,
Balloch and Helensburgh. From Glasgow city centre you can take the First
Glasgow Bus Nos: 66, 204, 205, 215, 216. Please note that the number 62
takes you only as far as Clydebank bus terminal.
By air:
Glasgow International Airport.
Situated at Junction 28a, M8 to the west of Glasgow, The Beardmore Hotel
and Conference Centre is an approximate 15 minutes drive from the airport.
Use M8/M898 (see locator map above), then follow route map. Alternatively
there are taxis available at the airport.
Courtesy transfer: The Beardmore Hotel and Conference Centre offers a
courtesy transfer to Glasgow International Airport. This is available
on request and subject to availability.
