A 15-minute walk along the shores of Loch Linnhe heading towards Crianlarich.
Getting There by Car
By Car: Fort William is well signposted with access via the A82 from the North and South. The journey from Glasgow takes two and a half hours, and from Inverness approximately one and a half hours.
Getting There by Railway
By Rail: Scotrail operates a regular service runs from Glasgow Queen Street along the famous West Highland line. On arrival at Fort William you are a 30-minute walk to Taransay. There is a taxi rank at the station and the approximate cost of a taxi to Taransay is £4. A sleeper service is available from London
Getting there by Aeroplane
By Air: The nearest airport is Inverness approx. 70 miles. Car hire is available. The nearest International Airport is Glasgow, which is approximately 100 miles away. Car hire is available.
