Fort William HotelsA warm welcome awaits you from your hosts John and Julie Mackin. Braeburn bed and breakfast is a spacious family-run house situated on an elevated position with panoramic views of Loch Linnhe and the Ardgour Hills.

Braeburn is set in its own private grounds. It has ample parking and storage for bikes and skiing equipment.

They are three miles from the town centre in the village of Banavie and close by the local hotels and bars serving good food and drink - menus are available - all within walking distance.

Braeburn Accommodation

All their rooms are very spacious with en-suite facilities. There is a TV in every room and tea and coffee making facilities, plus a hairdryer and radio alarm clock. Most importantly, they enjoy stunning views over Loch Linnhe and the surrounding hills. The area is quiet and peaceful so a good nights sleep should not be a problem.

They offer the following five rooms:
Bedroom 1: A ground floor room which sleeps up to 3 guests in one double and one single bed. This room can be booked as a double, a twin or treble accommodation. It offers an en-suite shower and has views towards Loch Linnhe. Ideally suited for those with mobility difficulties.
Bedroom 2: A large, superior family room consisting of one king-size, one single and one bed settee to accommodate up to four guests. This has a good-sized shower room and panoramic views towards Loch Linnhe and the Ardgour Hills.
Alternatively, this room is available as a superior double or twin bedded room.
Bedroom 3: A double room that is very light and sunny, plus an en-suite shower room and beautiful views of Loch Linnhe and the Ardgour Hills.
Bedroom 4: A good-sized twin-bedded room with a large en-suite bath/shower room. This room also has the beautiful views overlooking Loch Linnhe and the Ardgour Hills.
Bedroom 5: A bright double room that is situated up a small fligth of stairs. This has an en-suite shower room and views of Ben Nevis and the Ardgour Hills.

Location:
From the South

From Fort William follows the A82 until the junction with the Mallaig road. Turn left at the traffic lights onto the A830, travel approx one mile, cross the Caledonian Canal Bridge. Badabrie is the second turning on the right. Braeburn is at the top of the hill, third house on the right.
From the North
Proceeding down the A82 from Inverness. As you approach Fort William the Ben Nevis Distillery is on the left and a green BP petrol station is on your right. Turn right at the traffic lights onto the A830, travel approx one mile, cross the Caledonian canal bridge. Badabrie is the second on the right . Braeburn is at the top of the hill, third house on the right.
Banavie Railway station is a 10 minute walk away.
If following sat nav instructions, this will bring you down the A830 and after approx. one mile, it will tell you to turn left in to Tomonie. This is incorrect. Instead, take the turning on the right, signposted Badabrie. There is also a Braeburn house sign directing you up the hill and we are at the top on the right.
