Forres HotelsTullochwood Lodges stand in 28 acres of beautiful native woodlands, with Scots pine and silver birch being the principle species. Within the grounds there are eight spacious and relaxing lodges available for short breaks and holidays.

You can enjoy watching the wildlife around the lodges including buzzards, heron, deer, woodpeckers, red squirrels, ducks, moorhens and many visiting species of wild birds.

Located only four miles away from the lovely town of Forres, the lodges are also right on the Malt Whisky Trail and within easy reach of the Findhorn Foundation. The Moray coast, with it's golden beaches, is a beautiful area for a holiday in Scotland and is central for touring the Highlands, Speyside and Grampian.

Tullochwood Lodges Accommodation

There are eight wonderful self catering holiday lodges set in 28 acres of gloriously peaceful woodland with its own private lochan, woodland walks and children’s play area.

The four 3-bedroom lodges have a Scottish Tourist Board rating of 4-stars, and the four 2-bedroom lodges have a Scottish Tourist Board rating of 3-stars. The lodges are all of timber construction and are designed to blend in with their natural surroundings.

All are finished to a high standard and are well appointed in the grounds, with the 3 bedroom lodges overlooking the lochan and the 2 bedroom lodges enjoying a peaceful woodland setting nearby.

Two of the larger lodges are classified for Category 2 disabled access. We are also happy to welcome well behaved pets in some lodges.

Tullochwood Lodges has been successfully trading for over 25 years and has built up a reputation for providing excellent quality accommodation and holidays, which has resulted in many return visits from satisfied customers.

Everything has been developed to maintain a balance between natural habitat for wildlife and an enjoyable outdoors experience for guests and families.

Attractions and Activities
There are lots of things to do for everyone while on holiday in Moray. So much is available not far from Tullochwood Lodges. Nearby the delightful floral town of Forres, four miles away, has excellent shopping and sporting amenities including tennis, golf and swimming.

The annual Highland Games are held each July.

Further afield the Cairngorm National Park, Loch Ness, Inverness, Aviemore, Landmark Visitor Centre at Carrbridge, the Wildlife Park at Kingussie, Ospreys at Boat of Garten and fishing villages along the Moray coast are all worth a visit.

For the more adventurous, full day expeditions will take you to the West of Scotland, the Island of Skye or for a cruise on Loch Ness. Specific interests and hobbies are also well catered for.

The Malt Whisky Trail allows you to see the distilling process and sample Scotland’s most famous product. There are many golf courses in the area. Forest and beach walks are in abundance. Fishing, riding, skiing, bird watching and water sports at Findhorn are also readily available.

There are many places of interest to visit. Brodie and Cawdor Castles are close by, as well as Elgin Cathedral, Culloden Battlefield and Fort George. Or you can simply enjoy the wildlife.

Alternatively you may be visiting children at Gordonstoun School, friends or family at RAF Lossiemouth or RAF Kinloss, in which case Tullochwood Lodges is the ideal base being less than a forty minute drive to Gordonstoun or Lossiemouth and even closer to Kinloss.

DIRECTIONS
Getting there from the Information Centre:

From Forres Tourist Information Centre. Turn right out of Tourist Information Centre, head for the clock tower (Tolbooth) in the centre of town 150 metres away and take street past Tolbooth down to roundabout. Go straight over roundabout and follow B9010 past Rafford village.

Getting There by Car:
Follow A96 into Forres. From the clock tower (Tolbooth) in the centre of Forres, take B9010 past Tolbooth down to roundabout. Go straight over roundabout and follow B9010 past Rafford village.

Getting There by Railway:
From Forres railway station. Go to the centre of Forres. From clock tower in centre of town (Tolbooth) take B9010 down to roundabout. straight over the roundabout and follow B9010 past Rafford village.

Getting there by Aeroplane:
From Inverness or Aberdeen Airport. Take A96 to Forres leave A96 for clock tower (Tolbooth) in centre of town: just by clock tower take B9010 down to roundabout. Straight over roundabout and follow B9010 past Rafford village.
