Knockomie Hotel Accommodation

At Knockomie Hotel, we have two unique, luxury Four Poster Bed Rooms, Benromach and the Aberlour. The Benromach is a colonial themed room, harking back to the tea planters who built Knockomie in 1914. A refreshing room with an Iron Four Poster bed with Indian furniture and pictures.

The Aberlour is a more traditional Scottish themed four poster bed room with antique furniture and views across the garden over Forres and toward Findhorn.

While enjoying your Four Poster experience, why not go that extra mile and add even more glamour to your stay in these beautiful rooms with our " I do, I do, I did" package which includes Champagne and hand made chocolates on arrival.

All our hotel accommodation bedrooms are individually furnished to a high standard. Some of the double bedrooms feature patio doors leading out in to the gardens. Our Grand Master Double bedrooms are large spacious, some with queen and kingsize beds and views towards Forres, the gardens and the quiet wooded area at the rear of the hotel.

One has a Half Tester Bed with a canopy extending half way across the bed and decorated in pale yellow with traditional Wemyss Scottish Fabric, another is decorated in clan Grant and Fraser tartans with antique furniture for a truly luxurious Scottish experience.

Knockomie - Scottish Highlands Bar and Restaurant
Knockomie Hotel's Restaurant has an extensive Grill Menu which features dishes that are produced from ingredients scourced from local suppliers. Dishes such as Oak Smoked Scottish Salmon and Game Terrine. We also feature steaks and lamb on this menu and pride ourselves on only using the finest local beef and lamb.

All our beef is procured from Macbeth’s butchers in Forres. Established 25 years ago, Macbeth’s supply beef that has been home-grown at their farms at Dallas, Moray. From a base of two Highland Cows grazing in front of their house, Macbeth’s have built up a herd of 180 breeding cows all with Highland blood, but most now crossed with the Aberdeen Angus Bull.

Fed on grass and homemade silage with no compound feeds, they produce a high quality beef that is hung for 2–3 weeks to enhance its flavour, which we are sure you will enjoy.
