We are a small, family run bed and breakfast establishment, ideal, for families and couples looking for a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. We have operated a Bed and Breakfast for over 20 years and treat all our guests as friends; we have remained in contact with a lot of guests

April Rise Accommodation

It offers excellent value accommodation comprising of one family room, one twin bedroom and one single room, which two are en-suite rooms and one sharing. We have two en-suite bedrooms and one sharing.

The rooms, all individually furbished, the rooms have colour TV with freeview, hair dryer, a selection of teas and coffee making facility available.

We serve traditional and vegetarian breakfast using high quality ingredients. All our produce is, wherever possible, sourced from local suppliers. Our butcher who has won many gold awards, including bacon and sausages, free range eggs and freshly baked bread.

Short walk to town and all amenities.

Attractions
Situated in a quite cul-de-sac and just a short walk from the main Forres High Street, with St Laurence Church. Grant Park is the showpiece of Forres in Bloom with all of its floral displays. At the north easterly edge of town is Sueno Stone the largest known Pictish sculptured stone.

Forres is an excellent base for touring the Scottish Highlands. It is home to two whisky distilleries, the Benromach Distillery and the Dallas Dhu Distillery, which is part of the Malt Whisky Trail that runs throughout the Speyside region.

Findhorn Bay is close to Forres and is a popular centre for water sports, small boats, canoes and sailing craft. The bay is a local nature reserve popular with birdwatchers, the coastline is scattered with secluded sand dunes and beaches.
