Sheila and Alan welcome you to a 'home from home' at Mrs McQueen's B&B.
We will do our utmost to ensure that your stay with us is comfortable
and enjoyable and that your visit to our beautiful region is a pleasant
and memorable one.
Mrs McQueen's B&B Accommodation
Our B&B accommodation comprises two rooms in a self-contained annex
with its own main entrance door.
Both rooms are equipped with satellite TV, DVD player, kettle and hair-drier.
We have a fair collection of DVDs from which you are very welcome to borrow.
Breakfast is taken in a separate dining-room in the main house.
For those staying for more than one night, your room will be provided
daily with complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits.
In order to reduce our carbon footprint, towels are changed on request
rather than automatically each day simply leave towels in the shower tray
to have them replaced.
Change of bed-linen is by arrangement.
The ground-floor room is a twin/king-size - depending on your requirement.
It has a shower/toilet/hand-basin
en-suite and has French windows which open onto the front garden.
The first-floor room is a double room with a shower/toilet/hand-basin
en-suite.
Dining Room
Breakfast is taken in the dining room, which is located in the main house.
There is a pleasant view on to the garden and a collection of brochures
and other literature is available with information that may help to enhance
your visit.
Ground Floor Room
The ground floor room has access to the garden through a double patio-door,
which also provides wheelchair access to this room.
First Floor Room
The first floor room is a loft conversion which has drawn much favourable
comment for its cosiness and comfort.

Getting There by Car
Use the A1 to get to a point some 10km (6m) North of Berwick-upon-Tweed
and take the turn signposted to EYEMOUTH.
You are now, hopefully, driving along the A1107 to EYEMOUTH!
After about 1km there is a roundabout - the only roundabout shown on the
map above! Bear left. Carry on across a small bridge and straight up a
hill.
Pass a garage on the right.
30m past the garage turn left at the crossroads (there is a carpet shop
on the corner 'Border Carpets').
After only about 50m (look out for our sign) we are the first driveway
on the right.
No 2 is the left-hand gateway.
If the gate is open, please feel free to drive straight in and park in
the courtyard.
Getting There by Railway
Berwick-upon-Tweed is our nearest mainline station.
If possible, we can arrange to pick you up from the station.
Alternatively, there is a regular and reliable bus service from Berwick
to Eyemouth and we can either pick you up in Eyemouth or you can take
the short walk from the village to our place.
