The Lodge is described as "One of the outstanding town houses of
Elgin" Located in a quiet conservation area, and is only a 5 minute
walk from the Town Centre and the Railway Station.
We have a variety of bedrooms, all with warmth and comfort in mind to make you feel special.
Breakfasts can be a feast or just a little taste, whatever the choice we only use the best of local produce.
Relax in our guest lounge with its turreted window and selection of books and magazines whilst you enjoy your dram from the Malt whisky collection.
The Lodge Guest House Accommodation
Bedrooms: 4 Single. 2 Twin. 1 Family. 1 Double Bedrooms.
Bath/Shower-room are all en-suite.
The lodge was built for a tea-planter returning home to retire and is set in a large mature garden.
Our Accommodation:
We have a variety of bedrooms at The Lodge, all with en-suite facilities,
wi-fi, Digital televisions with Freeview, hospitality trays, hair dryers
and central heating All our rooms have desks and lighting to facilitate
working.
On the ground level, we have a twin-bedded room with an en-suite shower Room.
Also on the ground floor is a double bedded room which has an en-suite with A bath. These rooms are very popular with people who have problems with stairs.
Upstairs:
There is a twin/double room with a zip and link bed, so can be
a super king size or twin beds with an en-suite shower room. A Family
room comprising a king-size bed and a single bed with en-suite shower
room.
We have four single rooms which all have en-suite shower rooms.
About The Lodge Guest House:
Marilyn has run The Lodge as a successful business for many years with
a large return business base. She has attended many training courses such
as Welcome Host and Scotland’s Best to ensure a friendly professional
management basis.
David trained as a Chef and has worked abroad. He lectured for 28 years in Hospitality in Further Education and is a Master Chef with the Association Culinaire Francaise.
We are proud of our Breakfast Menu as we are passionate about good food. Breakfast offers the traditional local produce with healthy options, light and Continental breakfasts, platters of fresh fruit and the Lodge Specialty of Smoked Salmon on toasted muffins with scrambled eggs and fresh chives.
Local Attractions - Elgin, Moray:
It is a short walk to Elgin's Historic Cathedral, Johnstons Cashmere Centre,
Restaurants, the Cinema, pubs and clubs.
Elgin is convenient for our famous Malt Whisky Trail, Castles, golf courses
and sandy beaches rich with wildlife. We are very happy to advise you.
