The Walton Accommodation

The Walton guesthouse offers compact single and double rooms, large triples as well as a family room.
All are en-suite with shower (bath for double deluxe), furnished and decorated to a high standard.

Each room has a television and digital channels, telephone, and wireless internet access. In each bedroom there is a hospitality tray with a choice of teas, coffees, herbal teas and a selection of snacks.
Your ensuite boasts a fine selection of complimentary toiletries. We also provide ironing facilities and guests can use faxing facilities on request.

The Walton is a non-smoking establishment as are most accommodation and hotel facilities in Edinburgh.

Several languages aside from English are spoken at The Walton; Polish, Russian, and French among them.
Breakfast is served daily in our bright and sunny dining room on the lower floor of the guesthouse.
Full cooked Scottish breakfasts and continental selections are available.

Location:
The Walton Guesthouse is located in central Edinburgh and is ideally situated for anyone wanting to stay in the city centre.
We are only 10 minutes walk from Princes St, the main street for shopping in Edinburgh. Restaurants, shops, galleries, and cafes are abundant in this area as are numerous bars, clubs, and lounges for those interested in a night out in Edinburgh City.

The Walton offers guests travelling by car free on-site parking - spaces are limited to 8 cars. From Waverley Train Station Edinburgh and St Andrews Bus Station the walk to the Walton takes about 10 minutes. The journey from Edinburgh Airport to Edinburgh City Centre takes approximately 25 minutes by taxi or bus.
Guests needing transport from Glasgow Airport to the Edinburgh Walton Hotel. The Airlink Bus takes you from Edinburgh Airport to the city centre.

Walton Self-catering Apartments:
The Walton currently has two self-catering apartments in the New Town area. Both of these are bookable via telephone or email. Please note that all of our apartments are strictly non-smoking.

Cumberland Apartment -
Located across the road from The Walton, close to New Town restaurants and the Botanic Gardens. The Cumberland is an excellent choice for the Edinburgh Festivals.

Bellevue Apartment -
Just half a mile from The Walton and close to Broughton's restaurants and pubs.
All apartments are bookable securely online. Check in for apartments is from 5pm although you are very welcome to drop off any luggage at The Walton before check in.
