Edinburgh hotelWelcome to Sheridan Guest House. The Sheridan Guest House is the home of Rowena and Tom Watt, who bought the property in 2003 after living in Asia.

Rowena was born in the Philippines, a country famous for its high standards of service while Tom comes from the Shetland Isles, a part of Scotland known for its traditional warm hospitality.

Rooms:
The Sheridan has the option of single, twin, double, and family rooms all with en-suite facilities.
· Digital Freeview TV including BBC, ITV, Sky, music and radio channels in all rooms.
· Coffee and Tea making facilities with bottled water is available in each room.
· Hairdryers and alarm clocks are available in all rooms.
We are very proud of our high standards of housekeeping and you can be assured of pristine cleanliness at all times. For the comfort of our guests, the Sheridan is strictly a 'no-smoking' guesthouse.

Together they have sensitively restored this elegant Georgian house to create a contemporary home while retaining the unique character of the building.

Original artworks hang on the walls, Persian carpets provide a rich backdrop to the contemporary furniture and the food is fresh and delicious.

The Sheridan is sited to the north of Edinburgh's New Town, close to the vibrant port of Leith. It is just a short walk away from The Royal Yacht Britannia, Playhouse Theatre, and the Botanic Gardens, while the excellent sights, restaurants and bars of Edinburgh City Centre are just a short bus or taxi ride away.

Location:
Central Location
We are approximately 1.5 miles (2.5 kms) from the city centre and the main bus and train stations. Edinburgh Airport is approximately 8 miles (13 kms) away.
Car:
There is on-street parking on Bonnington Terrace and adjoining streets. Usually there is no trouble finding a space to leave your car.
Buses:
The number 11 Lothian Bus service passes through the city centre, by the bus and train stations and stops within 100m of the Sheridan Guest House. Just ask the driver to drop you off at Bonnington Terrace or Pitt Street. Lothian Bus services number 7 & 14 pass Ferry Road with stops within 200m of The Guest House.
