end of Princes Street and all city attractions and serviced with all day
bus services.
Murrayfield Rugby Stadium, Royal Botanical Gardens and the Scottish National
Gallery of Modern Art are a short walk away Drive to Edinburgh Airport
in 20 minutes and The Royal Yacht Britannia in the port of Leith with
many sea food restaurants in 15 minutes.
Directions:
Getting there from the Information Centre
Walk to Hanover Street and take an LRT bus number 40, 41 or 82 to the
stop after Stewarts Melville College, Sandilands House is on the left.
Getting There by Railway
Both railway stations, Waverley and Haymarket, are only a short taxi ride
away. Or from Waverley Station, walk to Hanover Street and take an LRT
41 or 43 bus to the stop after Stewarts Melville College, you will find
Sandilands House on the left.
Getting there by Aeroplane
Edinburgh Airport is 20 mins by road or a £12 taxi fare. Take the
A8 to the city. At the Gyle Roundabout continue straight to the traffic
lights at the Maybury Junction. Turn left at the Maybury Roundabout, see
the Casino on your left as you join Maybury Road, A902. Go straight on
to the next junction, Barnton Roundabout and turn right on to Queensferry
Road. After 2 miles, Sandilands House is on your right.
