Queens is a family owned Guest House. Our policy has always been that we always give our guests the welcome, standard of service, amenities and hearty breakfast that we would like ourselves whether we are on holiday or a business trip.

Queens is a magnificent 13 bedroom guest house newly converted, which mixes exquisite period detail with all the modern convenience and facilities you would expect from an up market hotel, but at reasonable guest house pricing.

Rooms
We have a range of rooms , single, double and family.
The Premier Room at Queens - stay like Royalty. The room looks out to the Queens Street Gardens
It has many period features - fireplace, three magincificent bay windows with orignal shutters. beautiful detail on the ceiling. Not to mention presidential size dimensions! En - suite features a bath and shower.

All are our rooms are spacious and offer excellent on suite facilities. Book our majestic and spacious Queens View suite and stay like royalty.

All rooms offer private ensuite facilities, remote control LCD TVs, wireless Internet access,a hospitality tray with tea, a selection of herbal teas, coffees and Scottish shortbread.
Each bedroom also has hairdriers and radio clock alarms.
A selection of toiletries is provided. We also display brochures of many of the popular attractions in Edinburgh at reception, but some of our own favourite restaurants and places to see are included in your personal Newsletter in your room.

Room 4 and Room 5 have been speically adatped for wheelchair access. The ensuite bathroom is designed for wheelchair access and the shower has been specially adapted.

Queens Guesthouse Facilities

Please note that Queens is entirely NON SMOKING throughout.
We can advise on our favourite restaurants, entertainment and sightseeing. We wish to make your stay welcoming and comfortable throughout.

We also have wireless Internet Access
Check-in time is between 13:00 and 23:00 (any later by prior arrangement) luggage may be left here anytime from 8:00 am in the morning until 5:00 pm.
For Guests checking-out, please note that Queens Guest House is not responsible for luggage left after 5:00 pm.

Queens Street, itself is steeped in history and character, for example Sir James Young Simpson discoverer of chloroform lived here. The Scottish National Portrait Gallery is also located on Queens Street.
EAC Language School is located next to us, as is the Royal College of Physicians Edinburgh also the Edinburgh New Town Cookery School is on our door step.

Things to do:
Edinburgh is famous for its International festival and also the Edinburgh fringe which run in August.
However there are plenty of other festivals which run throughout the year -
