Edinburgh hotelRoseneath Street is a spacious two / three bedroom flat which sleeps a maximum of six, and is situated in the Marchmont district of Edinburgh.

This is very central, being in walking distance of both the Old and the New Town. It is a lively area of the city, with lots of cafes and shops.

There is a wet fish shop, many fruit and veg shops, two organic grocers and a weekly cheese van which comes from France (parked on Meadow Place on Saturdays). There is a nice restaurant, Sweet Melinda’s nearby, but booking is advised during the summer months and other peak times.

It is adjacent to the Meadows, a large park where there are several playgrounds and a small pitch and putt course. A walk through this, takes you directly to the new Scottish Museum in Chambers St and a little further to the High Street and the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town. Edinburgh is generally very easy to get around on foot, however Roseneath St is well served by buses into the center of town, No 41 right outside and No 24 on Marchmont Road.
